Communicate Naturally and Get Connected!
Building meaningful relationships and creating strong connections are the cornerstone to great volunteer engagement. Effective communication is at the centre of both. In this opening session we will explore our natural communication approaches, learn more about others and find ways to quickly adapt our behaviour to connect effectively with others!
This interactive session will begin more than a week BEFORE Day 1 of conference and the impact will last long after conference wraps up – you will be DOING as you learn and LEARN as you are doing!

Creating Connections Day 2 Thursday, October 8th, 2020
As always, the PAVRO LiVE conference has a pulse on the important information you need to enhance your skills, education and career. 2020 has been quite a different year so far and we expect that to continue for several months! Since we just can’t predict what the most important information will be at the time, we are letting YOU choose – Throughout Day 1 we will be listening to your questions and comments and as the day wraps up we will ASK YOU what you want to walk away with on Day 2…we will then build it and design it that week!! We will continue to focus on connection and relationship development with maximum interaction and participant focused conversations – all virtual, all impactful, all in!!
Pulling it all together – That’s a Wrap!
What better way to leave a Conference than with a plan, an expanded network and a renewed connection to your work and each other! In this final session of Day 2 we will focus on what we have learned, make new commitments to ourselves (and each other) and use our new connections to bridge the gap to a new future for ourselves and our work!
As we say goodbye to our virtual conference, we will make plans to connect with each other in new ways and prepare to approach our work differently - with a renewed purpose, plan and pathway to success. We will truly be “Creating Connections”.
Cancellations and Refunds Policy
At PAVRO, we understand that from time to time, extreme circumstances occur where you may not be able to attend the conference. To avoid a cancellation fee, you can recruit another member to take your place. This must be arranged through the PAVRO Administrator at pavro@pavro.on.ca or 416-907-1007 no later than September 24th, 2020. If a replacement is not possible, PAVRO will charge a $50 cancellation fee and will be unable to provide any refund after September 25th, 2020.
In these unpredictable times, unexpected circumstances may prevent you from attending one of the days. In the event this happens, please contact pavro@pavro.on.ca and we will send you the recording for that day.
