We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Manager, Volunteer Services to lead, strengthen and expand the volunteer program at Dorothy Ley Hospice. More than 250 active volunteers contribute their time, skills and compassion across our residence, community programs and organizational activities.
This new role will provide both strategic direction and day-to-day oversight of Volunteer Services, ensuring volunteers are thoughtfully recruited, welcomed, trained, scheduled, supported and recognized. As Dorothy Ley Hospice prepares for growth and future multi-site operations, the Manager will help develop a scalable, sustainable and inclusive volunteer program that continues to enhance compassionate hospice care.

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Manager, Volunteer Resources, to lead the Volunteer Resources Program at Women’s College Hospital (WCH). This role ensures that volunteers are supported, engaged, and empowered to enhance patient care and the overall hospital experience.
A key aspect of this position is a strong, collaborative partnership with the Association of Volunteers, which serves as a primary relationship in advancing volunteer engagement at WCH. The Manager, Volunteer Resources is an ex officio member of the Executive of the Association of Volunteers and plays an integral role in aligning volunteer strategy with the hospital’s overall strategic priorities.
